A rigorous test and learn approach, running multiple tests concurrently in controlled cells that could deliver robust results focussed initially around key areas. Once we had built the required proof that search could perform above target we gradually increased spend and expanded our testing remit across the portfolio.
Once success was proven spend was increased over time to point where now it has increased 30 fold in just one year.
